Toyota's premium sub-brand, Lexus, has unveiled its new crossovers, the Lexus UX300h and UX300e, on the Japanese market. Sales of the Lexus UX300h are set to begin in early January 2024, while the UX300e will be available for purchase at the end of January.
These new vehicles are part of the Lexus UX series, with the UX300h being a hybrid crossover and the UX300e being a fully electric version. The prices of these models range from 4,559,000 to 5,657,000 yen (2.9-3.6 million rubles) for the Lexus UX300h and from 6,500,000 to 7,050,000 yen (4.13-4.48 million rubles) for the UX300e.
The hybrid Lexus UX300h is powered by a powertrain based on the M20A-FXS gasoline engine with a power output of 152 hp, combined with a 113 hp front electric motor (1VM) and a 41 hp rear electric motor (1WM) for all-wheel drive variants. The maximum combined power of the hybrid system reaches 199 hp.
As for the electric Lexus UX300e, it is only available in a front-wheel drive configuration and is equipped with a 203 hp electric motor. It is powered by a 72.8 kWh battery, which provides a range of up to 512 km on the WLTC cycle.
